The prospect of turning 17 seemed so far fetched. Ahhh, and it is just one more year! Then, it seemed really cool to be 17. But, it really feels quite scary, isn't it? Being 16, according to hanquan's brother, you are normal to have sexual intercourse cause it's legal! In America, kids at my age have cars already! Super cool but that kind of lifestyle would make me feel uber old :(((Anyway, happy lunar new year everybody! I've been reading chicken soup for the soul these few days and I wanna buy more at popular. I doubt popular would be opened though. Sobs!!! Ahhh I don't want school to start! School's fine but not CCA D:Haziq praised me for doing a 'good job' for the aar. Seriously?! Good job? Whoa! That was totally unexpected! I expected myself to redo it blah blah blah!!! Yeah man finally I can be a programme staff! Today was our ROD. I was pretty early so I didn't expect myself to end up being late. Sometimes I get annoyed by each of the 2 awesomely divided cliques and sometimes I am not and I can't help being so. I really don't mean to and I really wish you guys won't be so against each other. Geez.
Lk has been very affected by the truncated time slot that we were given. He even wrote using a commendable command of vocabulary in his email. I'm a little kid but there's still stuff I can do right??? HMMMM. Hardly is there anyway to extend the campfire and I don't think there is a need to fight over a longer time slot, really. I'm planning to remove 3 songs and 1 game to reduce the time. The emcees and gms are actually rather well rehearsed. Now I need to ensure that the classes are out on time. I often find the classes walking slowly to and fro during their turn so I think one scout or one guide can be allocated to each class (probably from the ushers/bouncers list) to hurry the classes so as to save time.

I am sooooooooo soooo dying for fame LOL... I wrote to ST forum so on 1 January 2012 I am SOOO buying the newspaper. Hope I see my name out there YAY! Lala. I kinda criticised yet complimented SG. Put me on that grey waste paper.........!!!

Hey! Recently I got my rank as a Company Leader. It's pretty exciting for me because I get to work with different people in school or in Guides. I'll get to meet the new challenges in life and gain a greater recognition by the people around me. I'll also need to be more careful with my speech and actions. It's true that life will never be the same again. It's also true that this peak in my life will last for only one short year but it's definitely wrong that my life will be mundane after stepping down. No, I won't conform to the normality. I will make the CCA a more enriching and fun place for everyone. My goal is to make every single guide feel a sense of belonging and happiness in the CCA. :) OH YEAH GIRL GUIDES FTW! :)

2010 has definitely been a year of great accomplishments, new adventures and creating new miracles. All the things I'd never thought I'd be able to do finally happened. Many unexpected occasions really happened in this short 365 days of my life. Firstly, I got to make more friends like Natalie the absolute K-pop fan, Corliss the cute cute bunny, Zhen an and Tuta the hyper guides and I got to know the happy 04 guides better too. :) I used to think that the 04 guides will always be together so I wouldn't get to talk to them much but it turns out that they are super friendly and I kept hanging out with Tricia and Vanessia ❤ the entire time in Guides. Next year, I'm even going to be in the same class as Jia Xin and Yan Lin! :D They're so nice I don't know what to say. :) Hmmm, for Guides, I could be as happy as 2009 or even more! I got to make it on TV with Stella and Janet as NDP guides. There, I made many new friends like the bubbly Fatimah, inspirational Samantha and the motherly Swee Keow. :D Yes, I also had moments of embarrassments like not zipping my guides skirt at Bishan with my FBT exposed hahahahah! Of course, there were unhappy moments too. Nevertheless, I had my besties right there for me. I would really like to thank Mavis, Nat, Tricia, Vanessia, Qi En, Corliss and definitely Yu Jing for being there for me. Each outing with you girls always add on to my beautiful memories. Also I have a few ridiculous secrets to reveal (maybe not). Actually I say I hate mirrors, bubble tea and kpop although I still use/consume/engage in them. Hahahahah! Okay I'm listening to Kpop now but I encourage everyone not to waste time on kpop la hahahaha! Study first yeah? Bubble tea = type 2 Diabeties. And yes, this year I finally got to go to Cambodia (I've been dreaming of it since sec 1 and that was why I joined SLC)! In Cambodia, I established a family with Vanessia and Leonard. HAAHAHAHA. Both of you are definitely livewires. You have made my Cambodia stay go so boomz. Haha Boomz is kinda out. Okay, what will the new 2011 word be? :) Enough about 2010. I love you 2010 but 2011, I feel like holding on to you and hugging you now :P

Today Stella's sis told me that she had to choose among Holland, USA and France for her scholarship. Seems like you don't have to work in the army to be able to go overseas with full subsidy! Haha, so I'll work hard to be like her to be able to enjoy life! eeeeeeha! If I were her, I would choose France since that is also her dream choice but since I heard that it is not advisable to interact with curt people like them... haha I might choose Holland instead! :)

Tomorrow Natalie would come over to finish the photo frames with me. :) It's a whole day thing I suppose. We might go shopping after that. Nex seems nice but I really rather watch TV hahahaha! Okay, maybe she could come and watch more HK dramas with me! :P

Today before Guides I saw Qi En. I was expecting to see her but another part of me hadn't had that feeling but anyway, it felt nice to be able to see her after so long. I'm really excited to see her soon and hand her my truckload of presents just for her :))) I saw that their entire team had Everlast bags and omg, I felt super jealous!!! Hahah! It's everlast~ it's a team thing~! If only guides could be like them! Hmmmm :D

YAY! Since the xmas party at Nat's, Ambrose and Niger have become good friends. I'm happy for them and for myself because the next time I meet up with Nat, Ambrose gets to meet his good buddy as well. :))) Yesterday, Nat came over with Niger. They played PSP, did math, played bey blade, club penguin, etc. while Nat and I were preparing the photo frames for her clique. :D Unfortunately, not many of them could make it today for their outing. I have to control my spending... I was not intending to do the photo frames but when I saw Nat decorating it so nicely I went to buy 3 frames to make them and spent $10 on the photos. For this week, I'd better control my spending... :))

Smuggler swallowed 1,200 ecstasy pills

DENPASAR - A THAI woman swallowed more than 1,200 ecstasy pills wrapped in plastic and tried to smuggle them into the Indonesian resort island of Bali, officials said on Monday.

Customs officials said the 24-year-old woman appeared nervous and was found to have a hard stomach during a body search at Bali's international airport as she arrived on Thursday on a flight from Bangkok.

She was taken to hospital and 1,280 ecstasy pills were found in her stomach, Bali customs chief I Made Wijaya told a press conference.

'The pills were in a number of plastic wraps which she swallowed about 90 times,' Mr Wijaya said. They weighed of 402g and were worth about 448 million rupiah (S$66,000), he said.

The woman, who claimed to be a dancer in Bangkok, told investigators that an Israeli man had offered to pay her US$656 to deliver the pills to Bali, one of Asia's most popular destinations for Western tourists, Mr Wijaya said.

If convicted she faces life imprisonment or death under Indonesia's tough anti-drug laws. -- AFP

This woman is so crazy. It's shocking that after consuming so many pills, she's not dead yet. Can't she use a better way to make a living?

Mavis and I went to MacRichie Reservoir today for a short hike to the Tree top walk. It was a bit disorganized but the time spent was worthwhile since I've never been there before. At least I'm not staying at home lazing around. I really wished that BPGHS wouldn't assign us any homework for the holidays!!!

CAMBODIA ♥ was totally awesome with my brother and niece :DDD I shall upload more pretty pictures soon when they do so! :) Today's our first outing together at ion. We played taiti at starbucks and just shopped around. YAY :))) We're going to east coast park together soon!!! Also, we're going to customise more things together like a key chain from the pasar malam since bird dreamt of us at that pasar malam! :D

After borrowing some books and mags at the library, I saw an able bodied Indian man holding a walking stick with his eyes closed selling tissues. Initially, I just thought that he didn't deserved it as much as the children from Cambodia. Then, I saw his eyes gazing towards the left and I felt utterly disgusted by his idea of making a living. Although this is scamming people's money, I think it's entirely up to this man whether he likes to live his life lying or doing something decent.

This morning, I went for the open house for GenSing and it was pretty fun. I was trying to be hyper but it was tough. Haha. When I saw the P6 students, I was thinking, are you sure? They look like p3, 4 students to me! Well, I must have looked like that in p6 too! It was rather nice working with the math teachers although almost all of them offended me in one way or another. I can tell you if you ask me personally but I don't want to defame them here. :) After that, went to play truth or dare with the 04 guides and went to help out with the 'decorations' for the G7 campfire. Thank you Vanessia! We went for the Cambodia trip briefing cum meeting. It's quite interesting actually. :) Who likes the song Like a G6??? OMG, it's just awesome. :)

Yay! The forensic science course has finally ended! :) I'm glad the lecturer at least said our presentation was a decent one. The test was pretty easy for an advanced elective module. A lecturer, Jeffrey, says that being able to get into this course is a rare chance. Guess what, Ms Chiang booked this class for us a year in advance and already booked another class for next year's students. WOW. I was just speechless when I heard that but Chee Meng commented that Ms Chiang was being kiasu and Corliss was really TOUCHED because she kept exclaiming, "oh my god, seriously, I cannot believe this man... Wow... Ms Chiang's so nice... I love her so much!" ahahhaha. :D

I went into the clean room again with my class. I was expecting myself to play some iPod games in the clean room while everyone becomes mesmoriesed by clean stuff. But, NO! I was having LOTS of fun just now. 201 felt so united and I really love you all ♥

Later, Corliss and I went to play basketball with 01 and 04 boys since lessons ended 3 hours earlier. I thought I could compensate for the subway meal I had and the disgusting nasi briyani I had yesterday but, no. I went on to eat another pancake. Recently, I have been quite addicted to the pancakes at Sembawang MRT station so I have been eating them for 3 consecutive days!

Yj, Corliss, QiEn and some guys went to the Green patch at the 3rd/4th storey which was really peaceful. So nice! Talked on the phone to Mavis there too. I wished we played more games just now man! :D I Played catching, hide and seek and 'soccer' with the boys.

Went to Mavis' house after 4 hours of apple apps and 2 hours of Lucifer. Mavis attempted to teach me how to play Hey Soul Sister with her guitar. It was tough so I learnt Twinkle Twinkle little star. :D Thank you for your encouragement dear! I downloaded around 30 great apps. (I hope I can download more tomorrow!) Then, I bump into Qi En again so we went back together. :) I can't wait to go to Ikea Alexandrea tomorrow with Mavis! First time going to my favourite place with you! I hope to buy nice stuff! ^^

Yesterday, went to service and then to Bishan Junction 8 for dinner. After that, watched TV with mummy until 1a.m. (: Today, mummy is preparing dinner for Uncle Anthony and us. I hope Ambrose can do well for his science man. :DDD

Starting Afresh

NEVER would I have thought that I would give myself change again. I wanted to keep my blog with all my memories till I grow older but it's actually not that easy. It's been wonderful having my blog through the past years. However, I feel like need a brand new start. I was innocent and now when I look back, I don't know why such absurd decisions were made... I want my life to be more optimistic, more grown up, more colourful. I hope my decision will bring about a positive change. (:
